My personal favorite so far has been the limited-edition golden ale made in celebration of Carnival's 50 years at sea. The cheery space is run by trained counselors who divide kids age 2 to 11 into three groups based on age range (2 to 5, 6 to 8 and 9 to 11), though kids may be grouped together if there aren't many onboard. Activities are determined based on age group, but can include a variety of arts and crafts, puzzles, song and dance, and movies and video games. Meals are held under the supervision of counselors, including lunch and dinner. Parents must sign kids under 9 in and out of the program, but can give their 9- to 11-year-olds permission to sign themselves out. The best thing about Panorama is that families have lots of choice -- whether that's to break off and do things on their own, or spend plenty of quality vacation time together. Kids aren't confined to just the clubs, and families don't have to scramble to find fun ways to bond.
I also thought our spa passes were well worth the extra $40 to enjoy the thermal pool and saunas.
I recommend coming in a day before your cruise to make sure you dont have any travel problems (the ship won’t wait for you!). With a capacity of 4,008 passengers, there is something for everyone. Throughout our cruise, I enjoyed just about every venue Panorama has to offer, but I always find my way to Alchemy Bar in the late evenings. It's where I think the best cocktails are served, and it's a central hub for meeting other groups of newfound friends. Havana Bar is one of my favorites for Latin music and karaoke showdowns.

Then teens ages 15 and up get their own space in the form of Club O2, where the vibe is super chill and laid back, perfect for the teen that thinks they’re “too cool” to hang with the family. Carnival's Vista-class vessels are the fleet's most family-friendly, featuring the company's largest family staterooms and dedicated facilities and amenities. Still, Carnival Panorama shows that the line's ships have much more to offer beyond late-night revelry (although there's plenty of that). It's a fantastic ship for families, as well as groups of friends or celebratory events, such as birthdays or reunions. Balcony rooms are also a lot more spacious than the interior rooms. Located aft on Decks 6-8-9, the Havana staterooms offer exclusive access to the Havana Deck which has a Cuban-themed bar and swimming pool.
The Sky Zone is open all day on sea days and in the afternoon and evenings on port days with multiple sessions offered for different age groups throughout the day. The arena offers a variety of activities including a climbing wall and ladder, a balance and jousting beam, basketball experiences, dodge ball, and more. There are also scheduled bouncy fun activities for the little ones (aged 5 and under) and even a nighttime glow party ($18). Carnival Panorama offers two main dining rooms, Horizons, and Reflections. The main dining rooms feature select items from the onboard steakhouse, available for an additional fee.
Enjoy the extra outdoor space, along with all the standard Carnival stateroom amenities. On Carnival Panorama, there are so many diverse options that you might be able to skip the buffet completely. Other hidden gems also include the Pasta bar at Cucina del Capitano, the Mongolian Wok at JiJi Asian Kitchen for lunch, and BBQ lunch at Guy’s Pig & Anchor that are all complimentary as well.

One of the best things about Panorama is how packed the itinerary is for those looking for activities day and night — but knowing it's not necessary to do all the things. I think one of the best surprises during a week onboard Panorama is waking up to find towel animals taking over the pool deck. As one of celebrity chef Guy Fieri's eateries, cruise guests know to go here for pulled pork, beef brisket, sausage, cold salads, and a variety of Fieri's signature sauces. My favorite is the brown sugar and bourbon sauce for sweet-meets-tangy perfection. My spouse and I also love SkyRide, but I made sure to make time for it when I sailed more recently with my friend, too.
